Welcome to my Ethnic Studies E-Portfolio
This e-portfolio showcases my final project for my Ethnic Studies class. Here, you will find my analysis and reflection on five different lecture artifacts, exploring their significance and relevance to the course material.
About Me
Welcome! I’m Ryan Santana, and I am currently a student enrolled in ASAM 101. A fun fact to know about me is that I am ambidextrous, and I am a nature boy. A quote I connect with is by a lady known as Queen: “How Can You Be Afraid Of The Created and Not The Creator?” This quote reflects that no matter what hard task I may face, I will always be able to overcome it and should do so with faith in my creator, Jesus Christ.
In this course, I did not know what to expect. However, over time, this class challenged me to think differently about what we learn about our history, identity, and the experiences different backgrounds face.
This portfolio represents my journey in ASAM 101, highlighting what I learned and how my perspective changed with each topic. Through different assignments, discussions, and reflections, I was able to better comprehend topics that I had never really thought about before, and connect them to real-life issues.
My reflection
Throughout this course, I have engaged with profound concepts and critical discussions. This section provides my personal reflections on the material, highlighting key takeaways and how they have shaped my understanding of ethnic studies.
